Índia: What to buy?

Índia: What to buy?

Say what you want, one thing you can’t take away from India is the huge merit they deserve for their handcrafts. There are countless markets selling the most diverse handcrafts made by the locals. I get lost in all these traditional markets, especially in foreign countries! Therefore, I couldn’t leave India without visiting one of its main markets – the Main Bazaar in New Delhi. It’s soooo worth it, and as there isn’t usually much information about what to buy in these markets I decided to share with you some of the stuff you can find in this bazaar. Not to mention that everything is really cheap.

Asides from all the accessories and clothes, there are many décor items such as door knobs is all shapes and sizes, pillows and puffs. You obviously need to have your bargaining skills on point, as they usually overprice these items so much that they are willing to sell for less than half of their first price. Just as an example, the knobs were 30 cents each, and each puff was 4€.
